All the track in the Perth area is owned by Westrail. The suburban system and the lines north to Geraldton and south to Bunbury are 1060 mm (3 foot 6 inches) gauge. The lines from East Perth Terminal to Midland, east from Midland to Northham and south west from Midland to Kwinana and Fremantle are dual standard gauge and 1060 mm gauge.
